We are proud to announce that on May 10, 2023, the Board of Directors of Apollo Tyres led by the chairman Mr. Onkar Kanwar, attended the inauguration ceremony of the 9,2 MWp self-consumption PV park built by Solarpro for the company’s plant in Gyöngyöshalász, Hungary.

Mr. Konstantin Nenov, Solarpro Holding chairman, had the honor of cutting the symbolic rope to mark the start of electricity generation by the PV plant.

This remarkable project was structured as a Long-term Rental Agreement (LTRA) with our strategic partner GreenYellow as the main financial investor. The plant will cover over 15% of total electricity consumption of one of the biggest tyres factories in Europe.

On May 25th the official opening ceremony was held were representatives of all companies were once again present. Each side had the chance to share their thoughts on this successful collaboration and further discuss future endeavors.
