Solarpro is proud to support the development of the Tenevo photovoltaic plant in Bulgaria, following the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s announcement of a €50 million loan for its construction and operation. This marks EBRD’s first InvestEU-supported project in Bulgaria, underscoring the strategic importance of renewable energy investments in the country.

As the appointed EPC contractor, Solarpro is responsible for delivering the Tenevo PV plant, which will play a vital role in expanding Bulgaria’s solar capacity, reducing coal dependency, and supporting the country’s long-term net-zero goals.

Developed in partnership with Eurowind Energy and Renalfa IPP, this milestone project is a major step forward in accelerating the energy transition and building a cleaner, more resilient energy system for Bulgaria.
