Solarpro proudly hosted the official opening of Eastern Europe’s largest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Razlog, Bulgaria. This state-of-the-art 55MWh energy storage facility, paired with a 33MW solar park, has been operational for three months.

The event featured a comprehensive program including:

• A guided tour of the hybrid utility-scale facility
• A networking reception
• The official ribbon-cutting ceremony

Distinguished guests who took part in the ribbon-cutting included Krasen Mateev, CEO of Solarpro; Mathilde Ketoff, Board Member at Renalfa IPP; Krasimir Gerchev, Mayor of Razlog; and Ning Li, Director of Sales for Central, Northern, and Eastern Europe at HiTHIUM.

The second part of the event focused on a technical workshop and discussion panel about BESS implementation, held in collaboration with Renalfa, HiTHIUM Energy Storage, and ТОКИ.
